Hi I'm Jack. My main interests are sports and the great outdoors. I am in the HC Outdoors Club and love the trips we take! I started to love doing outdoors activities in eighth grade. My class (at The Lexington School) went to the Grand Canyon for a week. Throughout the trip, we went to Arizona, Utah, and Nevada. We biked on trails through the dessert, we rappelled off of rocks. We waded through a river. We even went tubing down a river. We used Zion Adventure Company to help us with out trips. We did many things that made me feel like I was an "outdoors kinda guy." The best part of the whole trip was that we were camping out in tents right next to the edge of the Grand Canyon. I'm glad that I'm not a sleepwalker. I just feel great when I am hiking next to this amazing land form that is so rediculously HUGE! That was the best trip I've ever been on.
I also love sports. I play golf and tennis, and watch football, basketball, and baseball the most. I am a "fantasy footballer." I do play that game with the NFL and I enjoy playing it throughout the NFL season. I also am a fan of collegiate sports. My favorite teams are the Kentucky Wildcats and the Virginia Cavaliers. I like the Cincinnati teams the most professionally (Bengals and Reds).
School is important to me also. My goals for this year are to get A's in all of my classes and become an officer of two clubs.
