heeey there

Hey guys I'm Virginia! You probably already know that but maybe not! One thing that is unique about me is my hair color; no one ever knows what to call it. It's gotten to the point where whenever anyone asks me I just say "I don't really know, what do you think?" I've gotten everything from red to strawberry blonde to light brown, so I think I'll just stick with "undecided." Another random thing about me is that I'm a lefty, but I'm a lefty who can do a lot of things right-handed! I just wouldn't go so far as to say I'm ambidextrous necessarily.

I'm very excited for junior year, but I'm also bracing myself for the huge workload and tons of other commitments that come with it. This year my goal is to do better in math and science because they are not exactly what I'd call my strengths...I'm more of an englishy/history type person. I'm on Henry Clay's swim team which is my main sport. I've pretty much been swimming my whole life but I don't take it as seriously as I used to anymore. Competitive swimming requires a lotttt of time if you didn't know, and a lot of times I find myself trying to improve my time management skills. I'm also vice president of Anchor Club at Henry Clay, a member of French Club, and a new EAP mentor this year!

Over the summer the most exciting thing I did was go to Italy! I went to Rome, Florence, and Asissi with my youth group. I really loved Florence and honestly wish I could do some sort of study abroad thing there sometime. It was so cool seeing everything in real life that I've always read about and heard about. It turned out that our waiter at one restaurant actually knew the cast of Jersey Shore and is going to be making appearances in the new season that takes place in Italy! Well that's about it...the picture I posted is one that I took while in Italy that I thought was pretty cool if I do say so myself.
