Although I do not know much about how to fix the economy I will offer some suggestions. There were many factors that contributed to the Great Depression back around 1930. It was because of the overproduction and then the small spending after it at that time. People were investing too much and exceeding their monetary limit so when all this nonexistent money circulated, nothing showed for it. So what can we do to get out of a recession? Well it makes sense to create jobs as jobs will decreasing unemployment and getting paid will increase consumer confidence and more people will start buying again. But for these jobs in today's time they cannot be ones that can be outsourced to other countries. It has to be a job that makes it viable to keep in the US. New ideas such as consumption of energy (renewable, alternative) and newer technologies can help. To reduce the debt we should not continue borrowing money from foreign countries, obviously. People need to stop crossing the line and buy what you can afford. The last thing is that the government should not limit corporate activity harshly or allocate money to try and distribute it evenly or to lower classes (just because they are "entitled" to it). I believe in helping the struggling working and lower classes, but communism/socialism is not the solution.

Assignment 19: "We're in recession, but let me take a crack at it"
These never seem to be posted for our class, so here's the assignment for this week.
Inspired by the questioning mind of Jack Totty...
It should be no surprise that that the United States faces a monstrous debt.

On it Boss!
NCIS is one of my favorite shows. There are many good moments throughout the show and many come courtesy of "Very Special Senior Agent" Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo. "Big D, little I, big N, little ozzo." His personality can be considered to be the life of the team, led by Leroy Jethro Gibbs. DiNozzo always creates a little light with his sarcasm or good sense of humor even in what can turn out to be the worst of situations. DiNozzo is not shy when it comes to his good looks and uses this to his advantage. Though successful to some extent, his failures tend to add a sense of comic relief to the team. His maturity is not shown all of the time but when his team needs him most, he answers the call. His combination of charm, good looks, sense of humor, leadership, and out-side relationship- commitment to his team make him a very special agent and would be one of my choices as a character live the life of (just for a day or so...not much)
