I'm just a kid but they calling me the man- Mac Miller

I'm not sure how to start this off without being boring but i guess it goes something like this... Hello! I'm Braxton DeCamp and I am a Junior at Henry Clay High school. I went to The Lexington School since Pre-Kindergarden to 8th grade, and since then have been at Henry Clay.I try to get involved in in and out of school activities and hate to be stuck at home. I have one sister named Elise who is a Junior at Centre college in Danville, and she went to Henry Clay for her Junior and Senior year and Sayre her Freshman and Sohpomore year, and she actually had Mr. Logsdon at one point during those two years. My favorite subjects in school are math and science. This year I am going to attempt to get all A's but it definitely will not be easy. I have my license and drive to school everyday. I am a very outdoorsy guy and love to kayake, mountain climb, and hike; I plan on joining the outdoors club this year after sadly not being able to join last year.

As many of my fellow students know me as the "lax bro" because apparently I perfectly fit the preppy lacrosse player. While on that topic my favorite sport is lacrosse and I pretty much live it, my favorite website is www.lacrosseforums.com which is is a lacrosse blog type website. I play for Henry Clays team and have started since my freshman year at the "attack" position which is basically like a forward for soccer, point guard for basketball, quarter back for football, and who cares about baseball its awful; basically, all I do is offense very little defense. I also play for a travel summer lacrosse team called Lexington Premier, and where ever the team goes to play the first thing asked is "You play lacrosse in Kentucky?" or "What is that blob on your jersey?" and it is clearly a giant Kentucky or the fan favorite is "Do you ride your horse to school and do you wear shoes?" I hope to play college lacrosse at a D-3 college or a small D-1 school if possible.

I also love music, I basically listen to all music from classic rock all the way to dubstep. Right now I'm listening to some great bassnectar to keep me energized to write this entire blog. I have over 3,000 songs on my itunes but more that 97% were not purchased exactly the most legal way, but hey who doesn't think Lil Wayne has enough money as is and what is a few hundred dollars from itunes to him that I would have had to spend. My favorite artist right now is Mac Miller que the title and he is an up and coming white rapper, who is recently known as the new Eminem, whatever that means.

I went to Italy for two weeks this summer with my family and our friends and it was amazing. I went to Rome, Venice, Vatican City, Florence, and a small town in the Tuscan countryside. It was crazy being in a completely different country from the US and seeing how people are different not just by language but just how they live in general. I think the best city was Florence and I wish i could have spent more time there. Once I'm in college I would love to be able to study abroad back there. The one thing I miss most about Italy was the pizza, I had it almost everyday I was there because it was so good!
