School

The real question is what wouldn't I change at school. Maybe I am just a downer, buti have never found the high school experience pleasant. The two things that I would change within the school are organization and overcrowding.
Many club, sports and the school, itself, are a mess half of the time. I cheered for Henry Clay and we would never have set practices or fundraising events. We would get a text two hours before saying, "practice 7:30-9:30, Henry Clay, pink outfit." It was difficult to plan around cheerleading and quite often the coach wouldn't even show up. Clubs, such as Beta Club, are not well organized. I do not know when there is a meeting until the very day when it is announced on the intercom during sixth hour. I am a big fan of calendars and many activities need to begin using them.
I personally think that Henry Clay needs to be built like Southwestern in Pulaski County. The school is overcrowded and if we had two different facilities it would make life easier. I think one small structure for ninth graders should be made and a larger structure for grades 10-12. This would better organize classes and help adapt ninth graders to high school.
