The Bucket List

We all have things we want to do before we die. Not just the little, day to day things or even the yearly things. Big things, things that you feel would be impressive. These can be anywhere from "see a famous landmark" to "go skydiving". Yeah, these are things we can't usually do, but want to, someday. I too, have things I'd like to do. Things I want to accomplish before the end of high school, before the end of college and before I die.

High School: I'd like to subtitle a show to completion. The shows that I watch, I get to watch thanks to the hard work of people who translate and subtitle them for people, like me, who aren't fluent in the language. I'd really like to participate. I've already become a timer for one sub group (I mark where each line of dialogue is, so the translator and typesetter can input the text for each line). I'd like to be able to keep doing this, or more, and get an entire show subbed for everyone to see.

College: I'd like to become fluent in two more languages, Japanese and Computer. The first one is to further my high-school dream, whereas the second is something i've felt lacking in for a very long time. I do not know how to computer on the same level that my peers do. I'd really like to be able to "utilize Wine to make shells for operating Windows programs/games in a Mac environment", or even understand what that means.

Life: I'd like to live at least 24 hours of my life in space. This one really depends on how far Humanity gets while i'm alive, but I'd love to spend an entire day outside of the atmosphere. If Space Colonization becomes a thing, i'd be one of the first to sign up for it. Or, well, first to really really want to.

It's either that or pilot a giant robot. Both depends on human kind getting it together.
