This is a picture of the attack on Pearl Harbor December 7, 1941. 2,402 men were killed, and 1,282 were injured. This attack inflicted a profound shock on America, and is what ultimately caused us to enter World War II. Looking back on this picture 70 years later, the shock of this attack is still present based on how effective this picture was at capturing not just the moment, but the feelings with it as well.
