Somewhere out there

Somewhere in the universe there is a planet just like earth except millions of years ahead of us. The problems we face today are a thing in the past for them. They've found a way to use water instead of petroleum, and they are constantly moving planets when the previous one reaches capacity. They've created ways of locating planets that can support live and moving. The engineering is second to none and they can build societies in the time it takes us to build a city. They, like us, are trying to locate various life forms out there. Even with their advanced technologies the universe is just too vast. It is only a matter of time before they stumble upon our tiny, insignificant planet and it will come at a time that we need it most. At a time when we will destroy ourselves unless something life changing occurs; whether they are the change we need or not only time will tell.
