Bucket List

High school: Straight A's! This probably sounds really pathetic because, for some people, anything less than straight A's is unacceptable. However, I never gotten straight A's. Maybe I shouldn't have waited until I'm weighed down with AP classes. Nevertheless, I will still work hard and try to achieve this goal before I go to college.

College: Study abroad! I bet a lot of people have wrote about this too. But who doesn't want to? I left the country for the very first time this Thanksgiving to visit my cousin in London, England. It was pretty crazy to fly over the ocean and be on a different spot of the Earth, but England isn't too much different than the US. I would love to go somewhere and study a culture that is different from ours so I can learn and experience something completely new. It would be great to study abroad in Asia, maybe China, or South America.

Life: See Barack Obama in person. Pretty random. Yet this is still a dream of mine. For most of my life, I was never really into politics. But in 8th grade, leading up to the 2008 election, my proclivity for it grew. At first, I was for Hillary, mostly because I knew who she was. But the more I learned, the more I was drawn to Barack Obama. He truly inspired me with his aspirations, values, eloquence, and integrity. My admiration for him led me into my fascination with politics, making me realize how extremely opinionated I am. He became a role model for me and still is. Although having a wall in your room dedicated to newpaper and magazine clippings of something might seem slightly obsessive, he has influenced me in ways for which I am grateful. Just seeing him in person would complete my life.
