slacker people, teaching other slacker people, to not be slackers

yeah, that word could be accurately used to describe me. i am Michael, or known as the kid with JESUS in his last name, or even more so recently as the kid with the beard. admittedly, i am a slacker, and pretty much all the people who know me would call me that, whether affectionately or not i'm really not sure. this is quite evident by the fact that i am doing this post an hour before it's due, despite the fact that we have had it for 2 weeks. i even went so far as to log in and start my blog last week, before realizing it wasnt due till today, at which point i promptly logged off and went to bed. some will end up doing this later than me tonight, but had this been due written in class tomorow, i probably would have ended up doing it in school before i had this class. that is where i end up doing most of my homework, and its very convenient that way. the way i see it, use your time in school to the very fullest, and you only have to spend minimal time outside of it on school things. Besides, between baseball and football and basketball, i hardly have time outside of the 8 hours of school that i would consider doing homework.

thats pretty much the defining points of my life. i play football and baseball varsity at Henry Clay, and coach basketball for my younger brother during the winter. sports are extremely fun to me, and im pretty good at them so its an easy outlet for my competetiveness. i like to win or be the best at everything, not in an obnoxious way, but it does make me feel better when i succeed at something. for example, getting a 33 on the ap exam made me feel pretty good looking at some of the other scores, but then hearing someone else got a 35 just brought me down a little. Not a big deal, im not gonna freak out about it, but that shows, i am extremely competetive.

Now that ive rambled on for a while, including completely changing the subject of my last paragraph about mid-way through, i think ill wrap it up, i do have other homework due by midnight tonight after all. my site is somewhat appropriate, even tho the picture isnt exactly pushing the envelope, but it is a majority of my internet access, so be warned before you access it, though it may be comedically hilarious, you might not want to show this to your sunday school teacher when she asks what youve been talking about the last few weeks.

(oh, and the title, a reference to the great Samuel, and the fact that my blog is still under 5 hour. lovin it Mrs Carpenter)
