To become a fictional character.

There are a lot of fictional characters that it'd be fantastic to be. Characters with powers anywhere from stopping time to being able to create life. There are also characters with fantastic positions in life, from Fist King to Holy Emperor. It'd be amazing to be any of those, despite having many hardships in their lives. Hardships aren't exactly fun, and I'd prefer to avoid them, but having awesome abilities and great positions in life negates that to an extent.

So, for me, I'd like a character who has some really cool powers, has a nice position and doesn't deal with too much painful stuff in their life. I'd probably have to go with Giorno Giovanna - One of the most powerful characters in all of fiction with the ability to trap anyone in a never-ending limbo of death and rebirth, Giorno by far has power enough to be desired. He can also turn non living objects into living things (Turning a shoe into an armadillo, for example). And as for his position in life, he's the head of the Italian Mafia and friend to all people. A great guy with great power both ability-wise and influence-wise. I'd have to deal with some excruciating stuff, but i'd pull through.

Who would I be??

If I had to choose which fictional character to be, the choice would not be an easy one. There are so many characters that are masterpieces of their author, in that they will most likely supersede time and continue to be relatable for generations to come.

However, if I had to make a choice, it would be Arthur from the children's books and TV show (blast from the past!)

The reason why I chose this is because I think he represents the "Everyman" that was so popular in the morality plays of old; in fact, I've been able to relate to him for years.

Also, he has such good relationships with his friends -- from the insecure rich girl Muffy to the misunderstood bully Binky) -- and family. And even when those relationships are in danger, he always finds some way to make it better. The perfect example is when he manages to rebuild his and Buster's friendship (after Buster got back from traveling the world) by throwing a party to watch his travel slides.

I've just recently started watching "Arthur" again and I'm constantly amazed at how complex and mature (but not inappropriate) it is. And since he is so relatable to all people, I hope it doesn't go away for a long time.

Shake and Bake

If I had choice over any fictional character there is no question I would be Ricky Bobby from Talladega Nights in the first 45 minutes of the movie. Every thing about his life is awesome. He's got a hot wife, a hilarious best friend, crazy children who would keep me entertained, and he's rich. If you really break it down Ricky Bobby is living the Dream. However, he's not one of those boring frugal rich people who saves all their money, no he goes out buys a mansion and what ever else he can. He also has a loving mom who would be nice to be with. The best thing however about Ricky Bobby is that he's so good at what he does he could care less what other people think about him so he uses his power to dominate everyone else. So yeah for the first part of the movie Ricky Bobby is pretty much the ideal person to want to be.

Character

I consider fiction to be the apex of writing. That being said, this is a difficult choice. If I could be any fictional character I would be Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings. Gandalf is a very powerful wizard. He can conjure spells and produce magic. He is wise and knowledgeable. He is always smart in his decision making. He lives in Middle-Earth, which is possibly the most fascinating and wonderful fantasy world ever created. Most importantly he carries a staff. That staff is absolutely awesome and powerful. Gandalf has and amiable attitude to most of those who are not his foe. He shows no mercy for his foes and is relentless in his quests. Gandalf travels all over Middle-Earth and witnesses its many ages. He aids in the quest of the ring bye helping to fight Sauron while Sam and Frodo deliver the ring to Mt. Doom. Most importantly, Gandalf can appear wise, powerful, knowledgeable, focused, relaxed and meditative while sits down for a smoke on his massive pipe. In addition, he can blow various figure made of smoke with magic. Gandalf is one fictional character I would enjoy being.

My hero

If I could be any fictional character, it would be Ron Burgandy, from anchorman. This man pretty much has it figured out in that all he does is worry about how he looks that day, chills with his friends, beats up opposing news teams, and pulls hoes. More importantly, who wouldn't want to look that well groomed all the time, or be able to do 1000 dumbbell curls. And who doesn't wish they had a dog who would talk to them and save them from bears? Yes, Ron has it figured out.

This is so difficult.

I have seen far too many movies and TV shows and read too many books to truly decide what fictional character I would choose to be above any other. But I do know one character that would be a strong competitor: Hannah Montana. Let's be real here, more people would want to be Hannah Montana than the number of who are willing to admit it. It's not just little girls; people of any age or gender would love to live a double life, one of which which include being rich and famous. Yes, Miley Cyrus is right about it being the "best of both worlds." You can have trustworthy friends and live your life without a spotlight when you want, or you can step out on the stage and be the center of attention with millions of adoring fans. I would love to be a famous singer and afford all the clothes I want, but I wouldn't have to give up a normal life if I lived like Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana.

VAMPIRE MANIA

If I could be any fictional character I would be Edward Cullen. Why I would ever want to be a pale sparkly vampire you ask? I do because he is loved by all girls for absolutely no reason, and he is a vampire, who wouldn't want to live forever and be able to suck peoples blood. All Edward Cullen does is go to high school hundreds of times and find interesting girls to save and later ruin their lives. He fights werewolves over a girl, no exact reason but he gets to do it and wins because he is just that awesome. Edward can fly, run super fast, and has super strength, this is unheard of for not just vampires but most super heros. And throughout all of this destruction of young ladies lives, everyone loves him. He is the modern day super hero but he gets all the ladies. That is why he would be the first fictional character I would choose.
